Mommy has been doing Baby Sign Language with me since I was a little over 6 months old. I'm building up quite a vocabulary and sign back lots of things - more, lights, milk, flowers, shoes, cold, eat and hat. I understand much more that that. Plus, I'm understanding a lot of what is being said around me. This surprises Mommy and Daddy quite frequently! I heard them murmuring about having to watch what they say or something like that the other day.
Here I am:
And here I am being silly with the towels Daddy was trying to fold. He's become quite the laundry expert and I like to make it more challenging for him.

Xia,
ReplyDeleteNow that you are finally starting to understand what your parents are talking about, they're probably going to start doing something they call spelling. Just when I figured out what my mom and dad were talking about, they started saying things like "should we g-o o-u-t-s-i-d-e?" My brother and I think it is quite unfair. Mom and dad, however, are quite impressed at how quickly they can now spell and understand these weird letter words. Just wanted to warn you.
Love,
Leah (Lynn, George and Mark say hi too!)
Thanks for the heads up Leah. Little do they know that we are so smart that we'll figure those letter words out soon enough!
