I was enjoying the warmer weather in the early part of this week. Today it's damp and cool, so no walk for me. It was fun to hang out in a short-sleeved onesie with Daddy before this, and as you can see, he had to get some shots of me being adorable:
I'm getting a little better at holding that head up and I'm rolling front to back and back to front. Just wait til I get these legs under me and start zooming around. They better get to baby proofing real quick at home! Here I'm looking a little warn out - it's a lot of work holding up a third of your body!
Herbie and I contemplate who will win the battle for Mommy and Daddy's attention by having a staring contest. Sorry buddy, but I will ALWAYS win! And NO you cannot play with MY star, so don't even think about it...
By the way, I'm laying on the back side of my beautiful quilt made by our good friend Beth Bitts. I'll have to get a picture of the front so you can see how cool it is! See all of her great stuff on her blog: simply sewn

My Baptism!
What a wonderful week it has been. I just love when all of my family and friends get together just for me. I had a BIG turnout for my baptism into the Catholic faith on Sunday 4/22/07. Mommy and Daddy were so filled with joy as were my Godparents/Godsister Sadie, Phil and Alison. And well, just everyone had a great time. We are all truly blessed.
Here I am as a little bride for Christ. I'm thinking, do I REALLY have to wear this?!:
And here's the big moment as Father Leo baptized me (Mommy cannot contain her excitement while Daddy makes sure she doesn't drop me in!)
Whoops, there goes Mommy again, getting choked up! You should have seen her when she put my dress on - geesh! Daddy's smiling his loving smile and Sadie is getting ready to pat me dry - I was getting quite wet:
And here is my happy God Family. I'm so lucky to have them in my life:
And at the end of it all, I took a moment to pose with Mommy and HER Godmother, my great Aunt Cathy. So I guess she's not only my great Aunt Cathy but my GrandGodmother - go figure!

NEWSFLASH - I ROLLED OVER!!!
Yep, you heard it here first (well, not really, Mommy is telling the world!) - On Friday 4/13/07 around 8pm, I rolled from my back to my belly for the first time. What's so awesome is Mommy and Daddy were RIGHT there to see it. Now, I have to say, Mommy went a bit overboard, leaping from the table and smothering me with kisses and claps and bravos, but I know she just loves me like crazy and couldn't help herself. So, here's the photo of the amazing event. As you can see, the strenuous effort knocked me out and off to sleep I went. Please note that they did rectify my arm placement (smashed under my belly) after taking the photo. I have since rolled over other times and have learned to pull that arm out so it doesn't lose all circulation LOL.

Look How Cute I Am
Daddy was having fun taking pictures of me on Monday (Apr 9) and these are 2 of my favorites. How can anyone resist this face? I'm on my new tummy time mat that has lots of fun things I can play with and do when on my belly. I'm starting to hold my head up pretty good during this time, but I still don't enjoy it all that much. Mommy and Daddy keep trying to get me to like it though...
And as usual, Herbie is trying to get in on the action. He still doesn't quite know what to make of me...
Well, hope I've added a smile to your day!

Dolled up for Easter
We had a blessed Easter this year. Mommy, Daddy and I went to the Easter Vigil at our church. What a wonderful ceremony this is - all the catchumens (those who wish to become Catholic) are baptized, confirmed and receive their first communion. It was a little long for me, but I stuck it out.
On Easter Sunday we went to Great Grandmom's as she has Easter where she lives every year. It was nice to see all of my wonderful, loving family. They really like to look at me and smile and hold me and make funny faces - I always give them my smile.
Here I am with Daddy on Easter Sunday. Have a good one...

Busy/Fun Week
Well, first week with my Stay-at-Home Dad, and we had a blast! He's doing great. On Tuesday he took me to my Great Grandmom's place where I met my 2nd cousins Brigid and Claire. Aren't they cute?
Wednesday he took me to his Dad and Sister's store and showed me off. He dressed me in a shirt he picked out for me:
Then on Saturday, I got to meet a TON of Mommy's friend at a retreat she went to. Then we went to my friends Eli and Kylie's birthday party. He's turning 3 and she's turning 1! It was fun. Mommy played with me for a bit and you can see I now like holding my toys:
Last but not least, I'm almost ready to roll over as you can see in this clip. Here's to another week (Oh and PS, mommy survived one week back to work - but she misses me A LOT!!)
