Welcome to the World Isa Serena Zimmerman!

Hi everyone, it's me - Isa!!! I finally made it :-)

Mommy's water started to leak on Sunday 3/29/09 around 1pm. She called the midwife who gave her 12 hours to start having contractions. Well, by midnight, still nothing but leaking, so Mommy, Daddy (and I) headed over to the hospital and Grammy came to stay with Xia.

They admitted Mommy and started monitoring her and she had til morning to start having contractions. I really did try my best to help her out, but still nothing by the morning. So, at 9am on Monday 3/30/09, they started a Pitocin drip to induce labor for Mommy. She was scared this would take away her chance of delivering me naturally, but...

By 10am the contractions were coming and from 12pm to 1pm they were pretty rough, but Mommy and I were troopers and we got through them without any help - yeah! By 1pm, Mommy was ready to push and 6 minutes later...

I entered the world. So I was born on Monday 3/30/09 at 1:06pm weighing 6 lb and 10 oz and 20 in long!! Sorry it took so long to update you all, but the silly hospital didn't have any wifi!!
