Jingle Bells at the Library

On Thursday 12/16/10 we went back to the library for another program, but the presenter got stuck in snow on route 30. So we had fun with Miss Mary Ann reading us a story and then having some fun singing with jingle bells. We even got to keep these!

Little Entertainers

How many times have we seen the fire place ledge being used as a stage over the years? Once again on Sunday 12/12/10 the show went on. Isa did her best to be the star of this show:



But Xia comes out strong in this one starting with "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" (which we've been singing each night as we light the Advent Wreath) but it morphs into a Xia original with great Isa back up by the end:

And then Xia got real silly with our jammies before we put them on. She had her 'friends' (what we call stuffed animals around here) wear them LOL:

Isa Sings to Nightmare Before Christmas

I was sad about something the night of Thursday 10/14/10, so Mommy had me in the sling and was making me happy by getting me to sing Xia and I's favorite song these days from the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack, "This is Halloween". Mommy loved this movie when it first came out in 1993 and now we listen to it 24/7 and watch it too!

Xia Sings Super Songs

Hey, it's me, Xia. On Tuesday 8/3/10, I put on my super cape and sang some super songs. First, "It's Only My Idea". Don't ask me what my idea was, but believe me it was SUPER!!



And "On My Super Cape" transitioning to "My Only Idea"...

Xia is Forty One Months Old

On Saturday 6/5/10 I turned 41 months old = 3 years and 5 months old. I'm becoming quite a good singer and have a repertoire of songs that I can sing (ABC, Twinkle, Old MacDonald, I See the Moon, Mary Had a Little Lamb, etc.)

A Xia Mess and an Isa Song

Xia here. So what happens when you give a 3 year old a pack of sticky notes to play with? Mommy thought she'd give me a little paper to write on and play with because I love stickers and such. Here's what she found on the morning of Wednesday 5/19/10 when she came downstairs:



Oh well, I had a lot of fun even though it wasn't quite what Mommy had in mind.

Later in the day Mommy and I sang a song (Skin and Bones) with Isa. She comes in on the "oooohs" right on cue!
