Isa's First Cereal

Here I am on Thursday 10/1/09 having my first taste of rice cereal. Lucky me, I got to sit in Grandma's lap for my first real meal...

A Visit from Grandma!

Grandma came to spend a few days with us. Here she is with Xia already dragging her down to the playroom to "play" the floor piano on Wednesday 9/30/09:

On Wednesday 9/30/09 we had another great visit at Eli and Kylie's.

Well, I'm half way to a year! On Wednesday 9/30/09 I turned 6 months old. I'm now 27 3/4 inches long and 14 lbs 10 oz. I'm starting to eat some rice and oatmeal cereal and some sweet potatoes, squash, apples and bananas. I'm quite the communicator with lots of babbling and consonants coming into it now too.

Remember the movie ET? I think Mommy and Daddy were reliving the scene with ET in the closet with the stuffed animals on Sunday 9/27/09...

Dutch Wonderland

Hello, Isa here. We had a great time on Saturday 9/26/09 at Dutch Wonderland. It was Readers Jamboree weekend to celebrate literacy. Here are some pics and video from the day:

And Xia liked the big chalkboard in the schoolhouse. Too bad some boy came in and took ALL of the chalk and ran out of the place!

Mommy helped her to ring the bell in front of the school house. It was funny because Mommy couldn't hear the bell when she was right under it, but it WAS ringing!
