Isa Digs the Disco Ball

Just like my big sister Xia, I too enjoy our little disco ball. Here I am on Monday 10/5/09 in the morning sun...

Xia's First Tap Shoes

Hi there! On Sunday 10/4/09, Mommy and Daddy gave me a present they had picked up at a consignment sale. A pair of REAL tap shoes!!! You see, I love watching tap dancing on an episode of the Teletubbies and on the Lawrence Welk Show (what, you don't watch that every Saturday evening at 7pm on PBS?!!) One thing I learned real fast... they are slippery!!

Beth & Chip's Engagement Party

Xia here. On Saturday 10/3/09, Grandma, Mommy, Isa and I traveled down to Sterling VA for Mommy's cousin, Beth's engagement party. We are so happy for her and her fiance Chip who is a very nice guy.

Here I am playing with my 2nd cousins Emily and Natalie. We were having a lot of fun with chalk in the driveway...

Here is Mommy's cousin Tom's wife Julie holding another cousin's new baby Kathryn and Grandma holding Isa:

Here is a very special picture of my great Aunts Cokey, Joanne and Debbie. Little did we know this day that Joanne would be taken up with the Angels just 2 days later...

Now we're playing with a Zen garden, though I don't think the way we were playing with it was very Zen:

Here's Mommy's cousin Matt with his new baby Kathryn:

And Mommy's Godmother/Aunt, and my Great Aunt Cathy holding Kathryn:

What a wonderful day of celebration. Congrats Beth and Chip!

Isa's First Cereal

Here I am on Thursday 10/1/09 having my first taste of rice cereal. Lucky me, I got to sit in Grandma's lap for my first real meal...

A Visit from Grandma!

Grandma came to spend a few days with us. Here she is with Xia already dragging her down to the playroom to "play" the floor piano on Wednesday 9/30/09:

A Visit with Eli & Kylie

On Wednesday 9/30/09 we had another great visit at Eli and Kylie's.

Kylie kickin' it cowgirl style and Xia in Halloween style:

Shall we have a tea party?

And Xia wanted to dance with Kylie:

Isa is 6 Months Old

Well, I'm half way to a year! On Wednesday 9/30/09 I turned 6 months old. I'm now 27 3/4 inches long and 14 lbs 10 oz. I'm starting to eat some rice and oatmeal cereal and some sweet potatoes, squash, apples and bananas. I'm quite the communicator with lots of babbling and consonants coming into it now too.
